Itinerary
Pick up from JKIA airport/hotel and depart Nairobi early in the morning and travel towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and stop at the viewpoint for photographs before continuing to the Mara.
Arrive at your camp around lunchtime, depending on road conditions. After lunch and some relaxation, head out for an afternoon game drive, time permitting, in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs and other wildlife.

Spend a full day exploring the magnificent Masai Mara, renowned for its abundant wildlife, rolling savannahs and seasonal Great Migration.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives through the reserve in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. During the migration season, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, depending on their movements.
A picnic lunch may be arranged to maximise your time in the reserve.

After breakfast, transfer to the designated airstrip for your scheduled safari flight towards the Serengeti. The flight route will depend on available services, connections and international border arrangements.
Upon arrival, meet your Tanzania safari guide and transfer to your camp. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy game viewing en route or an afternoon game drive.
Flying between the two safari destinations reduces the long overland transfer and allows more time to experience East Africa’s remarkable wildlife.

Explore the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, celebrated for its remarkable wildlife diversity, large predator populations and seasonal Great Migration.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes and other plains game. Your guide will select suitable wildlife-viewing areas according to the season and current conditions.

Spend another day discovering the Serengeti’s diverse landscapes and exceptional wildlife.
Depending on your travel dates, your guide may focus on areas associated with the Great Migration or locations offering promising wildlife sightings. The camp location will be selected according to the expected migration route and accommodation availability.

After an early breakfast, depart the Serengeti and travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
The crater’s varied habitats support an impressive concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.
After the crater excursion, continue to your camp/lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. This is a demanding day, so the departure time and crater arrangements will be planned carefully.

Activity: Ngorongoro Crater game drive, subject to access and timing.
After an early breakfast, depart Karatu and travel through Arusha towards the Namanga border. Complete immigration and customs formalities before continuing into Kenya and onward to Amboseli National Park.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, open plains, seasonal wetlands and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro when the weather is clear.
Due to the long transfer and border formalities, arrival may be late in the day. An afternoon game drive cannot be guaranteed.

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and head out for a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. Explore the park’s open plains in search of elephants, lions, giraffes and other wildlife, with views of Mount Kilimanjaro when weather permits.
After the game drive, begin the drive to Nairobi, arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight or at your Nairobi hotel.
Guests with late-night departures may request an optional day room in Nairobi at an additional cost, subject to availability.

- Private 4×4 Land Cruiser safari vehicles for game drives and road transfers in Kenya and Tanzania, with appropriate cross-border vehicle and guide arrangements.
- Scheduled safari flight from the Masai Mara towards the Serengeti, subject to confirmation of the flight route and availability.
- Services of professional English-speaking safari guides in both countries.
- Park entry fees and applicable conservation or concession fees for the reserves and national parks included in the itinerary.
- Flying Doctors emergency medical evacuation cover for the duration of the safari in Kenya and Tanzania, subject to the provider’s terms and conditions.
- Accommodation on a full-board basis (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the lodges and camps specified in the confirmed itinerary.
